My sister and I booked a vehicle to take my elderly mother to visit her terminally ill relative for 4 days. The premium vehicle that were reserved was $45 per day. Upon arrival there was snow on the ground so I opted to upgrade and they told me it would be $10 per day for a four-wheel drive. The morning before we were supposed to return the car I called in and asked if we could extend for three more days as we were visiting the relative in hospice care. The person I spoke with called me back and said they spoke with their manager and we could extend for three more days. The original reservation confirmation stated that a daily fee would be $45 per day and of course the $10 per day upgrade ($55 per day). Upon returning the car they charged us $90 per day plus $10 for the upgrade so $100 per day. They claimed that the additional $45 per day was a 100% late fee on top of the $45 per day rental and then the additional $10 per day added up to $100 per day before taxes and fees. I spoke to the manager and explained the situation and that we were being overcharged $45 per day. She asked what they could do for me and I said it should be $45 per day plus $10 per day for the upgrade since I called in and had confirmation and a call back extending the rental. The manager said "that's too low, we can't do that" and did not adjust the bill at all. I will never again use this company and I will let everyone know of my experience. Gouging the customer, predatory business practices and horrible customer service does not earn my business. Also be aware that they are not located at the airport car rental, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. They do not simply accept your insurance card as proof of coverage, you have to wait while they call a representative from your insurance company to confirm your policy. Not the level of customer service I have received from other car rental agencies in the past, definitely substandard.

You need FULL coverage insurance of your own.

Please be aware that the company response to AJ 6 months ago that states you need liability insurance is now not valid.... You need FULL coverage according to the desk agent I dealt with. 

I own 3 vehicles that are over 10 years old and they are paid off so I have liability insurance only on all (verified by phone by their agent) and do not need full coverage.......I was told I need to buy their insurance...... Please don't tell me my major credit card won't cover you. You'll call to verify with my insurance company but won't call my credit card to verify coverage?

My sister had a great experience here a year ago so I thought I would give my business to a smaller, more local company but it's going to be Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz etc. from here on out.

Very good all around. Team was friendly on my arrival, car was exactly as expected per my reservation. Car was perfect for my needs, and I was happy to be able to leave my personal car at the lot for my reservation period. Happy to use again, or recommend your location.

The counter staff were professional and personable. The rate was a bargain. The dealers choice was a nice surprise. Looking forward to coming back
