The service was actually very good. Took awhile to get our food, but that was because it was so packed of Yankees and Pirates fans. The food was super and I love the beer selections!
Fun and relaxed atmosphere right next to PNC Park. Grabbed a quick lunch right before a game. Friendly, attentive staff. Food came out fast and hot. Ordered Fish and fries and a Reuben. Every city I go, I try to search for the best place to truly have some fun when it comes to night life. Traveling through town for The Raiders-Steelers game, we found McFaddens and knew we'd found our spot. Spent from 6p to 130am here, over $250 later in drinks and dinner, called it a night. A fantastic party for both fan bases to get together and have some fun. They had a great DJ, and prices were reasonable, at about $6 per beer average and our meal was somewhere around $12-15. The food was absolutely incredible, bar tenders, security, and all staff in general was all super accommodating and welcoming. The establishment is separated into two bars, a front and back, but the wall can be lifted to expand for capacity crowds. Outside patio is spacious, and gives you a fantastic view of the river and skyline. After about 10p, it quickly turns into a college night life atmosphere and is insanely crowded - which I enjoyed immensely. If you're into partying, want great drinks, and great food and are looking to truly have a good time this is top of my recommendations for Pittsburgh! Awesome atmosphere that I'll never forget and will certainly be returning to when I come back to the city.
Came here for a corporate event as McFadden was an affordable option compared to surrounding places. The General Manager was very responsive during the booking process. Upon our arrival, the semi-private space was ready, the food timely, and the service great. Before leaving they even brought out boxes so we can take the remainder of the food. Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend coming here for private parties.
Went to an event catered by McFadden's tonight. The food was spectacular! I would have given atmosphere 5 stars, but it was FREEZING in the room they had us in. So 4 stars due to that reason alone. Everyone had to keep their winter coats on because it was so cold. Service was really good. Nothing really stood out. Wheelchair accessibility: This place can accommodate scooter wheelchairs. We had one individual in our party with a scooter and he got around very well and had a great time.
Honest review after being in the bar industry for 15 years. This team is so used to college students and having to be tough on the clientele that good paying customers get treated terribly. We were here from New Jersey and we live the location in NY. But this location really left a bad taste in our moths. The bartenders were unfriendly. Last call on Sunday was at 8:30 and we ordered $40 worth of drinks only to be kicked out 3 min after receiving them. Management really needs to be more involved with day to day ops. Genuinely disappointed in the experience here.
I got the philly cheesesteak and fries. Very good. We were there and the heat was off due to the storm. They were probably short staffed due to storm and there was a party in the front. So they were busy.Food: 5/5
Ordered a Vegas bomb.. it came in a shot glass, no more than probably 1.5oz. $10....... this place is the most expensive bar, with the smallest drinks I've had.. in any bar across the country. The bartenders were rude when I asked about the portion. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. and will not spend anymore money here personally.
I don't expect much from food but my tater tots were amazing!! I ordered the Irish nachos while substituting chips for tots. Staff HUSTLED as we were there prior to a Pirates game. I had three draft beers, one of which was stale or skunked. My girl had a two mix drinks that were gross. It is a nice place inside and the food was all good.
