This is a fantastic gem near downtown Winston. We have visited this restaurant many times now. Every visit has been wonderful, with great service, good prices, and, of course, excellent food. The dishes offered are in true spirit of Cuban food you would find in Tampa or Miami. I see a lot of reviews here about poor service, but we have never had that experience. Our typical wait time for food dining-in has been about 20 minutes from ordering until it's on the table. The quoted wait time for take-out is always 30 minutes (and it's ready and hot when we get there). Ignore the bad reviews and go try it.

Home away from home. My fiance and I are from Miami and this was absolutely delicious. The flavor, presentation and atmosphere was top notch. Will be returning. WON'T and I mean WON'T find nothing like it.

This was one of the worst restaurant customer service experiences I have had in a long time. Service was extremely slow. 2 in my party never received their meal. Drinks were never delivered. One meal was sent back for being too salty. And even after this terrible experience, the server did not apologize until prompted, no allowance on the bill for the terrible service and the manager wanted to argue that we should have waited another 15 minutes for the 2 meals they never prepared (we had already been there AN HOUR AND A HALF). Ridiculous. I will never go back. I suggest you don’t either unless you just like paying for horrific service.

Worst dining ever. Service was terrible. Less than classy and apathy was noted. Do not waste your money. Not located in a nice part of the city. Did not feel safe walking to my car.

Food was good, but almost everything I had asked for on the menu initially, they were out of. The waiter was practically kicking us out before we had the chance to finish our food and was very sarcastic with my co-worker.
