Story

Located in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem, NC, Quanto Basta: Italian Eatery & Wine Bar reveals the rich, comforting flavors of "Cucina Italiana" as remembered and re-fashioned by Chef/Owner Timothy Grandinetti. Antipastas and appetizers, freshly prepared pastas and rustic sauces, hand-crafted pizzette and rotisserie fire-roasted porchetta. Quanto Basta boasts a wine list of more than 200 labels, with more than 50 from Italy and a selection from the local Yadkin Valley AVA. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, no reservations. Guests are invited to gather, to taste and to enjoy!

Marissa was put server and was fantastic. Food was delicious and appropriate portions and prices. Glad I don't live in Winston, this place would make me huge. My husband said best pizza he's ever had.

I am a regular here. Love to sit at the bar and have dinner. Service is fantastic and the food is authentic. My Italian grandmother would've approved!

The ambiance in here is great. The service was a little slow, which was to be expected on a busy Friday night. I had the baked ziti which tasted fine, although I would have liked the portion size to be a little bigger or the overall dish to blow my mind to justify the price. I think next time the experience would be better at a slower time of day and planning to splurge a little more on a different menu item.

Pleasant venue, but acoustics are bad. It was very noisy. The food is very, very good but, although the descriptions are trendy, this really is basic Italian/American cooking. The dinner salads are quite good. Desserts are excellent.
