Montmartre's prices initially kept me from making a visit, but when I finally bit the bullet, I was glad to have spent the money. Both my dining companion and I had the New York Strip, which is delicious and exquisitely cooked, as are the side dishes that accompany it. The potato-parmesan gratin is flawless — light to the bite and bursting with flavor, though the parmesan is understated. The service here is also excellent. Though the waiters are slightly brusque, they kept our french bread and butter coming throughout the meal, and checked in often to ensure that we were satisfied. We were. The drink portions are not generous, but the Moscow Mule that I drank was well-made and high-quality. I plan to return again on a special occasion.

The food was okay but Can't say it was the best. What I was very surprised and actually annoyed with was the service. I found the staff pretty rude. First I asked to replace one ingredient of the dish I liked to order, and I was told: "the Chef will not like these changes"!!! Okay fine, I said. it might be hard for chef, which is not, but anyway I changed my choice. Then I asked for Ketchup, asking"may I please ask for some ketchup", the response was "no you can't"!!! and when they saw I'm shocked they added: "we don't have it in house"!!! Very disappointed by their service. not going back there anymore and will not recommend it.

My Favorite Restaurant on The Hill. Very Friendly. Good Service. And I have Never had a Bad Meal Here. Always Wonderful. Merci Chris.

I came here for brunch on a Saturday and we didn't have to wait for a seat, which was nice. Our servers were friendly and the quiche Florentine I had was very good!
