Great service, great atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone and everything you can feel good about. Our chicken pot pie was as beautiful as everything that followed it.

After walking around Union Market we decided on this place. Had the Asian pear salad and it was delicious! Will go back again for that, for sure. It was slow so they sat us immediately in a booth. They seemed to have a decent amount of seating despite its location, which is always nice.

I decided to check out Bidwell in January after I'd noticed it was on the Michelin Guide and was sorely disappointed. The brussel sprouts were unmemorable in a way I didn't think our generation could muster. All you really need is some crispy vegetables with bacon or balsamic. The rest of the food and service were equally unremarkable. Their full bar stands out in the market where there are few cocktail options but generally in a city of wonderful food it was unremarkable.

This was my first time at Union Market, and first visit ever to Bidwell. The staff greeted me and my friend as we walked up to the bar. The server Ms. Cassandra W. was kind and welcoming and the people enjoying their drinks were giving off positive energy as this was a good place to be. I sampled two options before going for a "full" cup of beer. It was really good. I look forward to return and try as many beers that my taste buds will allow (haha). Thank you for the experience to my friend who recommenced I try Bidwell. I wasn't let down.

Went with a party of 5. Half the group thought the food was pretty good but over-priced. Dessert was just plain bad. One person sent her dessert back. The service was very slow and we could not understand why because it was not crowded. Would not go back or recommend to anyone visiting D.C. There are better restaurants in better areas.
