What a superbly savory steak. I went with my friends for a birthday dinner and they brought a large desert plate on the house for the table and decorated the table with confetti! The mashed potatoes I had with my steak was some of the best I’ve ever had. Great service, and a delicious meal. I’m still thinking about the meal and I hope to be back very very soon.

Stopped in after visiting the Air and Space Museum. We had two cocktails, a glass of wine, and two appetizers. Everything was beyond expectations. Both the drinks and food were wonderfully complex but well tied together. The service struck a perfect balance of attentiveness. Would rate 6*s out of 2

Capital Grille is a restaurant that I have never been disappointed with on a visit.  I recently visited for restaurant week and enjoyed an excellent wedge salad; a perfectly cooked steak, with a wonderful salad that included some great mozzarella on the side; and finished with coffee and one of the best tasting/textured flourless chocolate cake pieces I've ever had.  I was particularly impressed with how great the less popular cut of steak that was on the menu came out.  It was cooked perfectly, had wonderful flavor, and didn't have the toughness you sometimes expect.  The food here is just particularly well done, to the point that I will try things that I normally do not eat because there is a chance I will like the dish as this restaurant prepares it. 
 
This is probably the sixth time I have been to Cap Grille and the staff have never failed to provide an excellent experience and excellent food.  This trip was to celebrate an early birthday lunch for an employee several of us supervise and they even found some birthday confetti to lightly spread around the center of the table.  A table which was waiting for us when we arrived during an overly crowded restaurant week Friday lunch time--where we were the last available reservation when we went to book.  The restaurant is a bit expensive, but is a can't miss for a special occasion or an important meal.

Food is pricey, but superb. And the service is above reproach. Even though we definitely weren't dressed for the place - we were biking and sweaty - they treated us like every other customer. Best salmon I've ever had.

This was my first time there. I enjoyed the ambiance and the food. I plan to go back within the next 2 months enjoyed so much going to take the whole family.
