Amazing views. Super kid & family friendly. Rooms have kitchen to keep cost down. The beach is across the street so the sound of the ocean is tranquil. The access is close but the hill to get to the beach is super steep but it's paved so a stroller is do-able. If you have a physical issue or elder, may prevent you from getting there. Lots of restaurants....

This was an excellent hotel right across the street from the Carlsbad State Beach and within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. They allowed us to park there earlier in the day (before we could check in) which was so convenient. The room was very big with a balcony and a great view. The only downside (and why I didn't give 5 stars) was the breakfast. Besides the fresh waffles, the options were scarce. Didn't even have liquid creamer for coffee. But it was a great stay. Highly recommend.

It's a perfect family friendly place. A two minute walk to the beach. Great 2 bedroom condos (and others).. Slightly dated look on the inside and the kitchens need updating but highly recommend an ocean view room!

Great resort, right on the beach. Great pool & spas. Many excellent views if you are on the beach side, dolphins in the morning & afternoon. Activities in the rec room.

Come here annually for a family trip. It's a great spot to come de-stress for a week. Nice rooms, solid and quick responses from staff, right on the beach.
