I was visiting friends in Pittsburgh and stayed at the Motel 6.  It was a very pleasant experience. Ashley was extremely helpful in helping me navigate around town, and was available for any questions I had. By the end of the weekend she knew me by name! Her dog at the front desk is amazing!! He was very friendly and to be honest, made me feel at ease knowing he was on “watch”, especially since I was traveling alone.  Room was clean and price was well within my budget. Will definitely be back again.

Travel on the budget. This place is for you, not greatest landscape or view. The staff is friendly and easygoing. I gave a three stars. The building is old and need maintenance.  The room has no refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold, no microwave for heating food. Happy traveling.

Low shower head, which is fine. No bed turnover from one day to the next. I now have what look to be 5 spider bites after the first night on my arm and hip, which did not come from the rest of the trip because I was indoors and moving the rest of the time. No attendant available when I checked out, so I never received a receipt for my business trip. I'm just glad it was a low price.

I'm appreciative for the availability of the room. It was, however, VERY odorous of both cigarette smoke and either cologne or a very strong cleaning(?) chemical that was intended to smell like it. It lasted through to the next morning, even though we'd left our window open (though only a small allowed sliver) and even left our door wide open upon our arrival and while we were there in the daylight hours. It hurt to breathe otherwise.
The bathroom was clean enough (as far as I could tell), but the adjoining sink area, the comforter and the entire floor were not. 
Perhaps my fault, but I didn't realize that shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer were not included.
I paid (around $20) more than what was advertised on the sign, but I understand that rates can fluctuate.
Check-in staff was more helpful that check-out staff (who didn't ask us how our stay or room was). I think I'd pay a few dollars more and stay elsewhere next time, sorry to say.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Shower was hot. Great service at a good price.
