What began in 1971 with one store in downtown Barrington has now grown to eight franchises in five locations in Barrington and Hoffman Estates. Today, Motor Werks is one of the most prestigious and respected automobile retailers in Illinois, and is ranked number 80 among Crain’s Chicago Business Top 100 Privately Owned Companies in Chicagoland. To date, Motor Werks has delivered nearly 10,000 new and certified pre-owned vehicles to individual retail customers.

Motor Werks frequently heads the list of Illinois franchised automobile dealers in total number of new cars registrations in the state. Over 80,000 service aisle transactions are completed each year, and not surprisingly, more than two-thirds of our company’s clientele are repeat customers.
