I never knew what it was like to actually be treated as a guest until my husband and I stayed here. This place has forever changed how I view other resorts and they have set the bar high.

All of the staff is friendly and will actually smile and say hello to you. They will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable from getting out th kayaks to helping start a fire late at night. The owner is so genuine and you can tell has a heart for the community and hospitality. Jasmyn and Preston were five star employees.

The resort location is perfect and beautiful, close to kings beach which has lots of shops and dining. I prefer the north side to the south side. 

The amenities were phenomenal and our room was very clean. Sheets and towels all smell clean! I can't rave about this place enough. I will recommend to anyone and everyone that stays in Tahoe. 

I will say it didn't bother us but some reviews are correct that the walls are thin and you can hear road traffic but this can't even touch the five star rating we are giving this place!

Nice place.. Beautiful view! 
Just wish customer service wasn't so difficult over the phone. 
I gave them a 4 star rating only because the reservation policy needs to be revised. 
Roads close often due to winter weather. 
Please take this into consideration if you ever decide to revise your refund policy. 

Aside from the minor setback, thanks again for the relaxing winter weekend! 😀

Room was very clean and cozy. Location is also good. Close to some good restaurants.
The owner and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Complementary access to Snowshoes, DVDs and boardgames. 
Only negative thing I can think of is that breakfast was not the best.

The resort location was nice but the rooms are run down. The bathroom was old and didn't smell clean. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Very pleased with my stay here. Very homelike family owned place while maintaining attention  to detail and professionalism.  Fabulous view from the room. Clean comfortable beds. Loved the kitchenette with real dishes, sink, fridge, microwave and little counter.  Sitting by the window for my morning coffee watching the lake was bliss.  The bathtub was comfortable for a hot soak. A friendly, at home feeling in the room and from the staff. The perfect blend of nicer hotel and family-like hospitality. 

I'm traveling for business and wanted a relaxing place to stay for the weekend. After a stressful experience when my original hotel here in town didn't work out I was  "homeless" tired hungry and just walked in here hoping to find a last minute place  for the weekend. I knew my hotel stress was over when warmly welcomed here and saw the choice of two beautiful rooms at the rate I needed for my government per diem. 
The staff went above board also to make suggestions of places to eat and things to do in the area. 
I used the business center and there are board games and videos to borrow. 
 A very pleasant relaxing place to stay. Highly reccommend.
