Basecamp Tahoe City is the perfect hotel for couples and families traveling to Tahoe during ski season. Quaint, clean rooms. A well stocked common area has the friendliest staff in Tahoe. Highly recommend!

Rooms are pretty basic, but it's in a beautiful location. Rooms have coolers, not a mini fridge. The rooms have great decor and feel rustic while still modern. The continental breakfast has a limited selection, but it does the trick for a day of snowboarding/skiing.

There are hotels, and then there are experiences. Basecamp falls into the latter category. Every detail is crafted with purpose, making the rooms equal parts visually stunning and relaxing. We had a wonderful time at Basecamp and would highly recommend it. PS - They offer free s'mores during the week!

We stayed at Basecamp in Tahoe city. The staff went out of the way to accommodate us. The birthday gift in the room was unexpected and appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. The room is spacious and has a rustic but very clean feel. The location is excellent with everything in walking distance. This is my new, favorite place to stay in N. Lake. I hope to be back soon.

Good place. Few details were not taken care off like Empty Shampoo bottle in bathroom but good location and place
