The perfect place for a family of beginner skiers/boarders. Equipment rentals are right on the slope and super easy. The slope staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Rates are the most affordable around and they also offer a very generous military discount! We have season passes to Heavenly, but we still choose this resort when we have less experienced visitors with us.

Our family will definitely be coming back to this resort. The breakfast was great with so many options. The location is next to the lake and other amenities. Sledding was fun but if you are a beginner snowboarder or skier this resorts ski hill is great too.  Also, it was snowing when we were there and we went to the hot tub and heated pool at night which made for a fun experience.

What a fun place to take young kids sledding! It was very reasonably priced and an awesome first snow experience for my four and six year old kids. There was even a "bunny" slope for timid or young sledders and a big one that was a barrel laughing thrill for our thrill seeker and her dad alike.

We love it here!  Great place for families with small children.  Excellent breakfast in the morning and you can walk from your room to the slopes.  There is also a large hot tub my kids love.  The restaurant on site is convenient as well.  Only 5 minutes from Tahoe City.

This small ski area by Tahoe City is a nice area. Family owned and operated the place is both fashionable yet comfortable for a family getaway. Close to different amenities and such, yet far enough away that you'll feel like you're in another world far from big city or resorts. You'll absolutely receive the personal touch if you stay here.
