Have been going here for years. I don't get the negative reviews. It's the most consistently good food in Highland Village or Flower Mound. Some people always have to complain. Don't eat Sushi if you cant afford it. The hibachi meals are very good and plentiful. The sushi in Dallas may be better, but it's much more expensive. Fuji comes highly recommended from this patron.

My wife and I enjoy eating here on our special evenings out, and we have sat in the same booth the past three times. It has become "our spot". I love that you can order hibachi while sitting in a quiet booth. It makes for a great evening together. I highly recommend Mt Fuji for a special evening out with your significant other.

Worst experience and overcooked meat. I went in January and it was ok so we went back this past weekend. The chef acted like he had come to work after his dog died. The waitress never refilled our drinks and the meat was so overcooked you could've chewed it like a piece of bubble gum. Very small portions, you get more are Panda Express for way less money. I also saw what looked like a rat dropping and when I pointed it out they said it was Rice, never seen black rice that big-didn't know black rice existed. Will never go back.

Price is high, considering the limited amount of food. Most higher-end hibachi places offer 2 shrimp as an app, for all who order off the hibachi menu: not here. My filet and shrimp came with 5 shrimp/maybe 3.5 ounces of filet. Between my wife and I, who both ordered entrees, we got 3 piece of broccoli, 5 carrots and 1,643 onions in our vegetables. I have never in my life gone to hibachi and left hungry, until now. Food was tasty, just scarce in quantity and did not meet expectations for a return visit. There are better places to go, where you can get more for what you pay for. Added note: we went on 2/10/18, while it was 34 outside, and we constantly felt a large draft. I had to keep my pea coat on, as did my wife and daughter were frigid throughout.

Food is terrible which is too salty and the lady served us, she acting like she want us to leave, also I ask question about Sushi but she said it's all same fish, she look at my face like why I had question about it. I will not recommend to go here. Tempura shrimp,Gyuza,Thai Style Calamaris are like instant food from grocery store. Only better food is Sushi.
