There are a lot of new restaurants in Flower Mound but Rockfish in Highland Village remains one of my favorites, and shouldn’t be overlooked. The seafood is always fresh and very well prepared, I love the chowder, lobster bisque, and the gumbo is amazing. Fish tacos are delicious.
Then there’s the service. I went in for lunch with a friend and ordered crawfish, an in-season treat. Hadn’t had it in years so didn’t think about the bug-like critters staring at you and needing shelling skills to eat. John, the manager, who is from Louisiana, came to the rescue like any good host.
It made our visit fun, as have the waitresses we’ve met there. 
And if you haven’t had the key lime pie, it’s the best I’ve had in north Texas. Bread pudding is also wonderful. So go, for great food, reasonable prices, and above and beyond service.

Great place for really good seafood dishes. Salmon and trout, really any of the fish, with 2 side dishes makes for a great meal at a reasonable price. Oysters on half shell are normally big and flavorful. Soups are great. Large menu selections. Great atmosphere, normally not a long wait but it does get busy. Excellent service. Bar area is tight but has happy hour specials and half price bottle wine on Wednesday and Saturday. Outdoor seating with a fireplace and access to bar from outside.  If you're looking for reasonably priced seafood options with a variety of items this is a good choice.

Tina is an excellent server. Even though there were a few issues throughout our meal, she managed to promptly correct the problem exceeding all expectations. She was very professional, friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned with our overall satisfaction. We will definitely return to this establishment again and ask for Tina. Their french fries are pretty good. Their fried shrimp tasted burnt, and their hush puppies taste like booty. Our server was so slow and forgot to bring us our condements. 👎👎👎
