This museum is a hidden gem tucked away and well worth the visit. I would definitely recommend spending a few hours there. The museum, wall of fame & shop are so unique. I oddly enjoyed the section on funeral traditions. Each item has its own unique story. Make sure to say hi to the cat. The space is beautiful, with goats, peacocks, chickens and plenty of space to walk around & explore cabins.

This is a blast into the past. It's a great showcase to see how we used to live. It is so interesting. The staff are the friendly guys and gals around. They are super knowledgeable too! Head down there when you can and see a taste of the olden days.

The museum was well worth the time visiting! Very interesting and educational. Do not eat before going here, they have a terrific restaurant onsite you have to try!

What a fun place to visit! A must for homeschooling families or history buffs. The gift shop is wonderful and has a wonderful selection of locally made or handmade items. The grill served up some tasty lunch for us while we sat by the fireplace.

This is the second time I have visited here and I was a little disappointed. The first time was more educational and entertaining. Maybe I visited on a special weekend in the past. They have a great store with some excellent books.
