Great place to spend an afternoon with my kids. We like to come every so often just for fun. There's no entrance fee and it's filled to the brim with information. My 4 year old loves it and my 14 year old asks to come back! Can't wait to visit the museum in its new location once it opens.

The museum is free but parking is not. Prepare to pay a good amount for parking or find cheap parking and walk/uber. The museum was okay, but not great. It could use more interactive features. They are in the process of preparing to open the new Tennessee State museum later this year so some items have already been pulled out to prepare for the move. It's a good day trip with the kids if they are old enough to read the displays and interested in history. If not, you may spend your time there listening to kids ask how much longer.

went in here to kill a few hours and realized it is absolutely massive. I couldn't finish the museum, not even close. Plus its free to the public! It's worth the visit if you like museums.

Great look at Tennessee history from paleolithic to present, a moderate walk from Broadway. New greatly enlarged facility is scheduled to open later this year, can't wait. Oh, and it's free!

It's ok. There's some really nice displays and a lot of info. I love museums and history but this one was a bit boring. Great place to kill time.
