I came to this dealership to try out a vehicle and Elijah Taylor was assigned to me as a sales rep. He was STELLAR. He knows his vehicles backwards and forwards, and he truly has the customer's best interest at heart. Plus, he's just fun and incredibly likable. I really appreciated the time he took to let me ponder the decision and help me uncover what I really wanted. In the end, I chose to purchase an entirely different vehicle elsewhere, but I would still recommend this dealership. Beyond the dealership, I would recommend Elijah Taylor.

I'm a first time buyer and I had an amazing team working with me! If you go ask for Anthony and Ken, THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST SERVICE. They helped answer all my questions and made sure I understood. I didn't feel pressured and felt like I was getting the best. The whole Madza team as a whole was very warm and welcoming. I'm so glad I got my car with a business I feel like I'm valued.

Arriving on a Monday night to check out a vehicle that had just arrived on the lot, I test drove this vehicle and had agreed with Bert and Steve that I would be back to purchase the vehicle later in the week as it had not gone through Service yet. They had offered that they could hold the car for me if I was willing to put a non-refundable $1,000 down payment on the car. I politely refused because that is an absolutely absurd amount, especially before the vehicle had even been inspected. Every day throughout the week I was contacting Bert to check on the status of the vehicle, as I was beyond excited to purchase it. On Thursday, a manager, one that I had not yet been in contact with, called and told me the car had gone through service and was ready for purchase. I scheduled an appointment and not 15 minutes later I received a phone call from Bert telling me that it was a mix up(that is okay, we all make honest mistakes) and not to come see the car because it was “in service as we speak.” Later that night, Bert informed me that the car would be ready for purchase the next day, Friday. Excited as I was, I set an appointment to come purchase the car the next day as soon as they put it on the lot. Friday morning comes along and I wake up with a text message from Bert informing me that the car had been sold the previous night. I am not upset with the car being sold, but how the situation was handled. I was told not to come see the car that day because it was in service, along with the fact that Bert did not feel the need to inform me that the car was going to be sold when I had been showing interest in it for 4 days until after it was long gone. I do not recommend anyone do business with these guys, as they are not businessmen. I will not be returning to them.

Elijah Taylor was AMAZING to work with. I am in the hospitality industry, so I expect high levels of customer service, everyone at Nelson Mazda (especially Elijah) went WAY above and beyond. It was such a pleasant experience. I feel like I was treated fairly and got a great deal! Lisa answered my initial email contact and stayed in contact to find out what time I would be there so someone would be waiting for me. Then the manager called to see if there was anything he could do before I arrived, and again promised to have someone there waiting to help me. Then I was introduced to Elijah. He was personable, answered every question I had, and kept me company while I waited to meet with the finance people. WELL DONE!!

So, at the end of my wife’s lease we decide to purchase the vehicle. The vehicle is in excellent condition with very low miles. We decide to finance through Nelson Mazda. With paperwork in hand, showing the cost to purchase the leased vehicle , this dealership tried to tell us they don’t know why their number was higher but it was going to cost more (Wrong) to purchase the vehicle than what the contract states! After much discussion we purchased the vehicle for the contract amount( as it should be) We should have just returned the leased vehicle and ran from this place. It gets better. Jump forward a month later. We are now being threatened by Chase, the bank that financed the lease, with repossession and negative credit reporting (27 days late at this point) because Nelson Mazda hasn’t paid off the lease with the money we financed from them to purchase the vehicle. In typical fashion for this business, they cant (or won’t) tell us why the lease hasn’t been paid off with the money we borrowed! It’s beginning to sound like an episode from American Greed! As of today we are still fighting this fight. Nelson Mazda (Randy)claims they have sent the check. Chase, as of today, still shows 27 days late (NO check!) threatening us with repossession of the car and negative credit reporting. Chase won’t discuss with us any additional information. You deal with these guys, good luck!!! As an update....while it’s true Nelson Mazda did finally (after nearly 30 days) payoff the lease with Chase Bank, because it took so long, chase Bsnk recorded 2 late payments and reported these to the Credit Bureaus! As a result of Nelson Mazda not notifying Chase of the lease termination and subsequent purchase of the lease vehicle our credit is now destroyed. Nelson Mazda refuses to acknowledge this and has done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. As a result we are forced to take legal action for their breach of contract resulting in the defamation of our credit.
