I highly recommend this place.  The guy who answered my call about my car problem was extremely helpful, and he was even able to give me a preliminary analysis of my car before I walked out the door. When I came back for my car the next day, they cleaned the snow off my car and they gave me the advice to seek out my car dealership to see if my warranty would cover my car problem.  GREAT customer service.  Will definitely come here again!

I've been meaning to write about how GREAT Nelson's is for the last year! I drive a "well-loved" car and the current manager at Nelson's has always been so helpful in getting me what I need and letting me know what could be done but doesn't have to be done. They have saved me a ton of money and have always been speedy with repairs. I'm so grateful I found them!

While not the closest auto shop to my location, I would go out of my way to give Nelson's Auto Repair - Dinkytown my business. In my two trips to their shop the staff has been very approachable and hands on in helping me with all of my concerns. Every time I have visited they made sure to take time out of their day to carefully and simply explain what is occurring inside my engine at a technical level. They even went as far as allowing me to watch as they talked me through some of the work they were performing under the hood. For an unexperienced car owner, they made me feel at ease and left me knowing my vehicle was in capable hands. Their customer service is top notch and the staff are all genuinely happy to answer any questions I had. I could not recommend Nelson' Auto Repair - Dinkytown enough!

By far the most positive experience I have had with an auto shop. Service was quick and affordable,  workers are approachable, friendly, and in good spirits! Left in a great mood with my tire fixed! Will absolutely be back for any other car troubles. Thank you!!
