Story

Turbo Tim's is a Northeast Minneapolis auto repair shop. All our mechanics are great, we work well together and consider each other friends and family.

Mission

Our mission is to help people get their cars fixed at a reasonable price. We try to educate owners about their cars so they can make good decisions that are beneficial to them and their vehicles. The goal is for customers driving out of the shop to feel good about their experience and enjoy driving their cars!

Awesome!!

I acquired my current car after my mother in law unfortunately passed away; a 2003 Chevy she got a deal on and had a lot of work that needed doing. We weren't sure what needed to be done because it was an unexpected passing that really devastated our family. I was really nervous to take it in because of the potential expense (really anything could have been wrong with it), and because I've never owned a car before and was nervous about being taken advantage of since it's clear the car needs work.

My husband recommended Turbo Tim's and I'm so glad he did! They looked at my car, told. me straight up what needed to be done and in what order, and confirmed it was OK to drive until I got paid. They replaced my rear struts for less than they quoted me for, and the communication and service has been awesome. I have a few more appointments to make with them, but I'm sure I'll continue to be pleased. The bumper sticker discount and the kitties are an added bonus 😊

Knowledgeable repair shop with good customer service and fair prices. Honest techs who will tell you if it's something you can fix on your own, don't need to fix, or can wait on and they don't push the "extras". 

Plus the shop cat Bobbie makes it worth visiting even if you don't have a car that needs fixing.

Honest, kind, and efficient mechanic! The best thing about Turbo Tim’s is there transparency. I came in with a beater of a car and they gave me all the details and costs of everything before they started. They were concerned that it would be too much money into a  cheap car. Ultimately, they fixed the timing belt and did body work for cheaper than they first estimated. They had plenty of opportunities to screw me, but they remained honest and did a great job! I don’t have any plans to go to any other mechanics in the future other than Turbo Tim’s. Thanks!!

I have been coming to Turbo Tim's for at least 5 years, at their current location and their old one. Most people would assume that business that take off like Tim's has would have growing pains, poor service with their growth and be slower than molasses. 

That is NOT the case. The guys (and gals!) are always upfront about timing of projects and do their best to update you if things will take longer than anticipated.

They offer loaner cars at an extremely low cost per day and they keep said vehicles in tip top shape.

I have consulted other mechanics at friends behest on major repairs and Tim's has always been on par or lower cost than other shops in the Minneapolis area.

Plus shop kitties! Who can say no to kitty snuggles/playfulness while you wait for your vehicle to come out of the shop?!

Tim and co, you know you've got a customer for life (especially since you know I don't know ANYTHING about cars).

They're honest and don't do unnecessary work. I'm so glad I went to them on a recommendation and will certainly return again. Thanks for the positive experience!
