Absolutely the worst experience in my life, I booked my rooms 2 weeks in advance and when we tried to check in they said my room wasn't ready. There was an undeniable stench when we walked in and as soon as we started talking to the receptionist she made racist assumptions about me. My family had to find something to do with our bags while they "cleaned" our room which took much more time than expected. When we could finally check in they took my credit card and told us I could not get my receipt until I check out, which I later understood. Anyway my family and I were tired after the four hour drive and the 3 hour wait for our room so I just assumed we would pay the price at which we booked the room, assume nothing in this establishment. We went to our room and found out only one of our two room keys worked. We walked in to the room which seemed fairly decent at first glance but we would later find out the disgusting brown stains everywhere. Also in the summer weather it is absolutely to have a working AC, which of course they didn't have. After we had our beautiful vacation in the lovely Newport we were checking out only to discover the ridiculous bill, they had overcharged us almost $60 "extra guests" of which we did not have. Once we started to discuss how they overcharged is they immediately denied overcharging us and walked back slowly. After confronting Mr. "Mark" Patel he told us to call someone assuming we would not, after fighting for an hour over the injustice they refunded us for stuff like "using the safe" of which we did not and some other obviously wrong charges. Absolutely the worst, don't believe the pictures or the "real" reviews. Buyers beware, even though this seems like a good cheap option you will end up paying the same thing, or even less, for a name brand hotel with good service, and stay away from the gut wrenching breakfast.

The family who owns and operates this hotel is very nice. The waffles were a good touch. Little things could be improved, like real cream instead of powdered. But the rooms have new, comfortable, modern bedding and the service is great. A good overall value.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 9/3-9/4/2017. Very disappointed in the service . The continental breakfast was out of everything. My wife left a piece of jewelry behind and the hotel won't return it. According to them its our fault we left it there. The owner says they clean the rooms and are not responsible for what is left behind. Will never stay here again. I feel it's a very dishonest practice to not return items to your guest.

Clean, Good Bed, Front Desk wonderful. Rick and Heena so nice. Would stay here anytime.

Absolutely worse than expected. We were forced here because our first choice was overbooked. So they charged us the full $550 for three nights, even though they were 1.5 stars lower than our first choice. We were so weary from our day long drive, arriving at 11:30 pm, the stench from the lobby didn't register. Neither did the woman and her 2 year old daughter who checked us in, otherwise we would never have signed in. Only when we got to the room and noticed the stains on the floor, lamp shades, and walls, the horrible smell in he hallways and room the broken security latch on our front door, and the never working keys to our room, did we realize the enormity of our mistake. If we were paying $50/night, we would have suffered through it, we were so tired. But to pay $163!!! Outrageous. We spent the next three hours that night looking for a new hotel and we were out of there the next morning. Don't be fooled by their website pictures! Look at ours!!
