I can't believe how incredible the service was here. The wait staff was very attentive. One of the waters overheard us make a comment about the amount of chicken in our lettuce wraps and without knowing he brought us out a new plate with a heaping serving. The food was delicious, best fish and chips, best clam chowder. And very good priced!!! 10 stars!

I used to LOVE this place but my visit on May 6 was aweful.  We ordered oysters on the half shell and steamed clams.  The oysters arrived and my fiance mention that it tasted off.  I put one in my mouth and immediately spit it out.  It was nasty.  We returned it and told them to have the staff check their oysters, and they should try ours.  The waitress said she would tell the kitchen.  ...then our clams arrived.  They were basically sitting in hot water - no flavor.  

Before leaving, we asked for the manager to warn him about the oysters.  He took the oysters off of our tab (which was not the point).  We also told him the clams tasted bad - no flavor.  He said "Oh, when you asked for no garlic or butter on your bread, they thought you meant for the meal as well".  ??? Really???  

A couple of hours later my fiance' was violently ill for hours.  I called the manager to let him know and he said he would take the oysters off of the menu.  He said he would let the owner know.  He also said he would call back to see how we were doing.  I never heard back from him.

I would not be writing this bad review had he called us back.  We just don't want anyone else to get sick.  NOTE TO OTHERS:  If your raw seafood tastes or smells off - DON"T SWALLOW IT!!   Forget manners, don't get sick.

I have nothing to complain when I was in this place. Enjoying fresh food and the peaceful view at the same time. In addition, the service was toooooooooo good to be true. Definitely will come back.

We've come to Newport Landing for many celebrations. Great service. Tasty food. Lovely view.

Didn't get past their "reservation" system.  Reservations made in advance via Yelp for 630pm.  Confirmation and reminder emails were received multiple times leading up to the day.  Called ahead at 540pm as instructed to confirm where they told us they would save us the AC Room.  Arrived at 630pm and they seated someone else in the AC Room.  No other place to sit so we ate elsewhere.
