There is a drinking fountain and a restroom near the entrance of the trail (Hillcrest boulevard entrance) and you'll find several benches alongside the trail - perfect for a short or long walk. It is shady, so good for sunny weather as well.

The San Andrea's Trail is finally cleaned up from all the outgrown weeds/bushes from the rain season. Actually quite enjoyable now and seems like a wider path. No deer on this side but you'll encounter harmless little lizards along the way & have the trail all to yourself most times.

Try running from the lot closest to Lunardis to the end of the trail. Sometimes you can see deer grazing in the sunshine and old friends pushing themselves to get fit! If you are a wild child and want to take the risk, you can hop over the fence and travel to the water... or legally contact the owners of the restricted area and pay a fee that allows you to enter.

One of the many lovely hiking trails in the Bay Area. This end - the Millbrae ish area - of the Sawyer Camp trail is less populated, which is good if you want a more peaceful and quiet walk. The trail is well-maintained (aka clean) and has forest and lake views.

A great paved trail with bathrooms and nice views of the water and hills. Parking gets tricky, so come early.
