I went into this OfficeMax this evening on Auburn Road in Rochester Hills for the first and Last time today. I heard the young kid at the register ask the older employee something and the older guy said yea. The young guy follows me to the isle that I was in and just stands there without saying anything. I grabbed what I needed and he follows me to the register. I Don't steal and I'm sure that I Don't appear to look as though I do! After I pay, the kid rips the receipt off the register and hands it to me without looking my way and leaves the the bag with the item I just purchased in the rack so I reached over and took it off myself. Also, the kid was looking down on his cell phone the entire time. I've had lots of customer service training in all my 35+ years of working and I have to tell you, this Office Max needs lots of customer service training or they will shut down. Without customers, you don't have a job!!! Just a thought for you Rochester Hills Office Max.

I'm absolutely sick of the fact that companies do not hire educated employees. I sent my wife to this location for the 1st time to pick up ink for my printer with the model number and the employee does not know krapp about ink so Drop what I am doing for my company drive over there to get the correct in cartridge due to the fact that the employee is not educated correctly

I have been coming here for five years. Every year it gets worse. Customer service is very slow. Nobody on the floor to assist you. Good location not very crowded if you can't find it at Staples then this is the place to come. They have just about everything in office supplies but don't come here if you are in a hurry.
