We decided to bring our chocolate lab since this place is dog friendly. What a mistake! The RV spots are facing each other so we were face to face with our neighbors and their 3 dogs. We don't bring our dog on many trips so we knew we would need to work with him. We tried walking him to tire him out but the park is in a clover type pattern and there is no where to walk as everything is pretty much a dead end full of barking dogs. We tried to walk the street but it's highway 1 and has very little shoulder. We ended up having to keep him in the RV most of the weekend. I wouldn't come back again because of the lack of privacy. All the spots should be pull in or back in instead of alternating!

The morning we were scheduled to come in the whole park flooded. We had called every other park in the San Francisco area and there was nothing. The lady in the office was awesome and got us in another spot for 2 nights while the one we reserved cleared up. The spot J8 we stayed in had a lot of trees and was really nice. Although the whole park was muddy and damp, it just seems as though it rains a lot there. Other people may say its pricey but in comparison to other parks in the San Francisco area its reasonable. Did not use the restrooms but the laundry room was clean and had huge dryers which were well priced.

Very friendly and clean campground, full hookups and very close to the sights of Point Reyes, San Francisco, etc. Point Reyes Station is a really cute little town that is a couple miles away! And for you photographers, the famous Point Reyes Shipwreck and Point Reyes Tree Tunnel are a quick and easy drive from the campground! I will definitely return!

We stayed here at the beginning of a month long RV trip, early July 2017. It was a *perfect* starting point, easing us into RV life, hook ups, friendly neighbors, family vibes. It was so good that we actually came back to Point Reyes and rented the same spot (#101) at the end of our trip. I think I saw this campsite listed on a ‘best of’ list for RV campsites. I think we stayed in nicer ones, more grass, pool etc, but the vibe here is just right. Also, there is a cool little restaurant and general store down the road which is helpful.

The site itself was great. Loud neighbors in the pitch next to us kept us up all night with no stewards around to control it though.
