I have been spending well over 100 bucks a pop on sneakers for years, and they always rubbed, blistered, and basically annoyed the hell out of me no matter how carefully I selected them for comfort at the store.  Then I went to The Athlete's foot.

First of all, I used the address google gave me, which was an old address and I got helplessly lost.  Even though I didn't finally make it there until about 5 minutes before closing, the owner stayed open and treated me with all of the patience and courtesy I might expect if I were there first thing on the best day he's ever had.

Once we settled on a pair of shoes, he recommended some different socks (not made of cotton) to help reduce friction.  This was the only thing he tried at all to sell me on and he wasn't at all pushy about it.  I never felt like I was being up-sold, and it wasn't until I chose which of six pairs he offered, that he showed me he was wearing the very same ones.  He explained that they were his favorites but didn't want to taint my decision with his own opinion.

I have been using the sneakers and 'Fitsok' socks he recommended for about 4 months now with absolutely no blistering.  They are the most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet.  I could not possibly say how much I love these sneakers without sounding like I am being sarcastic.  I highly recommend going there and getting correctly fitted, it's the best thing I've ever done for my feet.

Bottom line:  Great Product, Great Service, Great Owner, Super-Happy Customer!

Kind people, great running store. Good for anyone dealing with foot problems, or looking for a better shoe to work in. Everyone I have referred to Richard and Patty have been over the moon with not only the one on one service, also how affordable and comfortable the shoes & insoles are. They carry Brooks, Saucony, Dansco, New Balance, Asics, and many running accessories. Highly recommend this family owned business!

they need to call it the runners foot.  If you go there and are not a runner they don't have your shoe.  They say they will do a fit print but thats only if you want running shoes.  Bought  groupon and thats what took me to this store.  Thought that they would be able to find the right cross training shoe that would not hurt my feet.  they were rude and kept trying to put me into a running shoe when i needed a cross trainer and when it hurt my feet they did not want to return it even though they were in new condition.  I will never spend another dime there again.

Our family has been going to these guys since they moved to Eagle 5 + years ago.  Always amazing service!  I will never buy tennis shoes anywhere else-
