I love the space here, but the cocktails were not great not was the food. 

My husband has a mojito and there was no mint or lime muddled in it, just added at the end as a garnish. Completely lacked flavor. I had wine and it was decent as was the wine and beer list

In addition the staff was not very friendly, it felt like we were inconveniencing her by being there. 

I did get the dessert which was a deconstructed banana cream or and that was delicious. 

I hope they can work on the issues. It's such a great location and patio

I love the Ox Cart's rooftop patio. Honestly have never been in the main restaurant because the rooftop is great. Has a nice bar and plenty of seating for food. Great views of CHS Field.

The cheese curds here are the best!  A little corn meal is mixed in, which adds a nice and delicate crunch.  The honey bbq sauce that it comes with is amazing!  State fair curds cannot compare to this.  The rooftop (prior to its most recent renovation) was really nice.  There is a bar and some lounge seating.  They also have this small area where people can play a game (can't remember the name of the game).  The only downside is that there are bees/wasps that also reside on the rooftop.  Be careful.

i don't normally do online reviews but our experience was so bad they need to know about.  I'm not going to list all the things that went wrong but in a nutshell our server is in the wrong profession.  Super nice but a terrible waitress.   We were definitely not in a hurry but we had to get up and go to the bar to get our 2nd round of drinks after our glasses were empty for 20 minutes.   Again we ordered another round when we ordered our food and our food came out before our 6 drinks.  My wife who had been trying to defend this poor girl finally snapped and asked if we could get our beers that we ordered 25 minutes ago to go with our food. The view was great but none of the  waitresses up there seemed like they wanted to be there on a beautiful 80 deg night.  There were a half a dozen other issues but her complete inattentiveness really put a damper on our night out without the kids.

I've been here a total of two times now, and I just love it.  The rooftop is beautiful and the food is excellent!  The salads are light and flavorful, and the burgers are excellent!  Definitely try the pot belly burger or the grilled cheese when you go!
