Recommend reservations, we walked in and were put on wait list decided to make reservations for the following night. Very elegant restaurant, servers all in black but the patrons were dressed casual. Prices were as expected at a fine dining venue. Our server Pierre was attentive but not overbearing. Food was exceptional and came out steaming hot. Our reservations were for 6 and they were not crowded but by 6:30 all the tables were full.
Hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten. The fiance and I found this place online and stopped in during our vacation here earlier today and boy are we glad we did. We didn't have reservations but we were able to sit at the bar with the full menu and the food was so amazing by the time we finished our appetizer we were talking about making reservations before we leave. When we left we did exactly that and can't wait to come back Wednesday. Authentic and delicious Italian food.
We tried it all from appetizers, drinks, kids meals, entrees and dessert! Fantastic recommendation from a friend. Everything tasted delicious and the portion sizes were huge. The ambience and service are great and the live music is a nice touch. Kid-friendliness: They have kid options not on the menu and can split some of the pasta dishes. Parking: Parking in the rear.
Great place! Wonderful atmosphere with live music, staff was super friendly and helpful with menu options. Fresh bread was delicious! We had the fried mozzarella, spaghetti with meatballs and lasagna. All very good with excellent sauce. Would definitely recommend!
First time eating here and it was absolutely wonderful hospitality and service and the food was great! We came to celebrate my sons graduation so it was late in the evening but they still greeted and served us with a smile. I am absolutely going back and recommend everyone go and have the spaghetti with meatballs!
My daughter and I were on vacation and I googled best Italian restaurants near our hotel and this place came up. YEEEEES!!! I've been in Food and Beverage for a very long time. I am a Culinary Supervisor at a Casino and I've had my fair share of Italian cuisine. This place without a doubt is the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Our server Steve or Steven sorry was funny and attentive. The ambience was perfect! The gentlemen playing the piano was fantastic! I had veal piccata and my daughter had fried mozzarella and clams with linguine. My veal was cooked perfectly and the sauce aaaahhh! LOL! My only tip is to make a reservation so you and your guest can be accommodated in a timely fashion. I went on a Wednesday night. I can only imagine a Friday or Saturday night! I plan to visit this place whenever I come to Virginia Beach!!! Oh, the video I couldn't help it. My daughter was like Mom no. Haha!
This was a great food experience. I ate at the bar and the bartenders were attentive and answered questions. The Mozzarella Caprese was very nice. The tomatoes were fresh and the oil and balsamic vinegar were added after delivery. I choose the marinara over a gluten free pasta and it was splendid. The sauce was out of this world. I could eat it daily. The crème brûlée for desert was fine, but I have high standards for this desert. All in all it was a very enjoyable dining experience. Oh.. and the live music selections were interesting. We went down with the ship with the Titanic theme song and then followed that up with the Charlie Brown theme song….definitely entertaining
we came from New Jersey and finding this place was a satisfaction. excellent food, warm and loving staff. the only advice may less salt in the soup of the day “pasta e fagioli” but still deserve the 5 stars. we'll surely come back when we come on vacation here !!!
Superb service. Excellent food. Go here for Italian food and more, wine, date night on beach vacation, YES! This wait staff professionals. Back of the house, great taste, plating good, keep it up. Vegetarian options: Wife had the eggplant, very good.
The ambiance from this place just set the tone. They had signs up that said they were short staffed, etc. And they didn't miss a beat! Our waiter, Drake, was very likely the best server I've ever had. The bread was fresh and warm, the salads were awesome, lasagna and the fettuccine was just so good. If there was any room for dessert I'm convinced that would be good too!
