Host was helpful. Facilities clean. Quaint old hand pump for water. Small campground near a creek. Some sites right on creek. Small size helped keep noise down. Decent hiking nearby and beautiful drive in and out of CG.

Peaceful Valley lives up to the name. the campground manager is super friendly and responsible. It's simply perfect. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. So much wildlife as well!

We stayed 2 nights in Site 1. The table, fire ring, and tent pad are down some steps and close to the river. Access is pretty easy even for larger trailers. There are is an off road vehicle trail in between Peaceful Valley and Camp Dick and another one at the far end of Camp Dick, walking along the single lane paved road that connects the two camps can be a little dangerous with personal off-road vehicles and jeeps not paying attention to the speed limit. Nederland is 30 minutes if any supplies are needed with a fully stocked Ace Hardware. The Millsite Inn is a nice local place along Hwy 72 ,about 10 minutes towards Nederland, with really good pizza.

Sign on restrooms state you mustpay a aite fee to use restroom, unless you are a camper. If you are using the hiking trails that are a part of campground. Very un welcoming.

Google Maps takes you to mailing address, not campground!! No where near the actual campsite.
