Well kept, fairly priced and conveniently located. We weren't aware that in addition to having a reservation at the campsite, we also needed to purchase a pass per vehicle per day, but even knowing that we'll likely go back.

Campsites have a good layout. The boat ramp & marina are accross the road, & their bathrooms, & showers are handicap friendly. The showers run on tokens, and they're nice, bright & warm. Great place to visit.

The beach was busy but so much fun! We went twice today and the kids had a blast. The showers are close by and fairly inexpensive. They were clean and warm. Hip hip hooray! ,😀

Awful. Road tripping across the USA/camping - 1. Regardless of reservation one needs a permit/per day. No big deal as long as there are instructions how to get it! Instructions on where&how to get permit are non existent yet telling you that you must otherwise breaking the law is everywhere! If one arrives at night, well good luck! Can only get permit/day. 2. SHOWER HOUSE was a JOKE! Perfectly clean I guess because nothing worked! Sinks backed up, toilet kept flashing wasting water & best part having to pay for shower - ok so you want to preserve water, I like that but than it DIDNT work! None in the ladies and only one worked in the man's which you find out after putting the token in! First night only one shower "worked" but the only temperature was extremely hot (couldn't change it). Be ready to have cash! . 3. There is NOWHERE for you to wash your dishes . Sink in bathroom is on a 3 second timer so you hold it down with one hand while trying to wash the dishes in a sink that backs up. Not cool! 4. NO VIEW of the lake due to store or damn being in the way. 5. Camp is parallel with ROAD. Literally! Not set off it but next to it.

Restrooms were very clean, shower house was great. Not all campsites have shade, but most do. Campground host was very friendly and the whole place quieted down at night quickly.
