Loved, Loved, Loved our Staycation at the Pelican Grand. Once inside you feel as if you've been transported to some secluded island. The staff were fabulous!! The views breath taking! We had such a relaxing time, already planning for a Girls weekend.  KUDOS to the dining/restaurant manager and staff who had to deal with the screaming kids and unconcerned parents during breakfast.

Wow, it is a really cool hotel. Right on the beach, Which incidentally is turtle nesting season at the moment. The fam was blown away by the attention to detail from the rooms to the dinner at Oceans 2000 to meeting Mitch the server, This was the most perfect way to end our family vacation. We will be back to enjoy the sunshine really soon.

I was very dissatisfied with the beach service!!  We notified the waitress and the beach service crew numerous times that we were wanting to order food.  We were even given a flag to put in the sand so they would know where we were sitting and that we wanted food service. The waitress literally serviced everyone next to us even when we were the only people that were given a flag to stick in the sand!  After two hours I approached the waitress again and notified her that we would no longer be needing their service because we had went to the next restaurant over and ate.  The waitress stated that we should absolutely be compensated for the situation but that also never happened! The Hotel is nice and upscale that is why they are getting three stars or the rating would be lower. Also the rooms are beautiful and clean.

A small hideaway that’s worth getting to know. First time visiting and certainly won’t be our last.  Our server (Mitch) treated us as if we were long time friends, and made our final night so very special with our dinner and dessert.

Great resort! Private beach for hotel guests, ice cream parlor in the gift shop, and two restaurants on site (One fancier and one more casual with a bar). The pool is heated (which is very nice for the "in between seasons" months) and the lazy river is a nice touch. The restaurants and even room service are a little pricey, but the food is delicious and the convenience is something to consider so it's worth it.
