I have to say, as a small business owner, it is far more common for people to write negative reviews to express their dismay than take the time to write a positive review every time they experience great service...I think it is because we expect great service every time. Well, for me, I expect great and I have received great service at Personal Best. From the office staff, to Phil (the owner) and especially Victor, my personal trainer. Always on time, always professional and always prepared to deliver excellent service!! Not only am I seeing great results but I have built relationships with the staff and members that will last a life time. You get what you put in every time.

What separates NPTI from other schools in the area is it's ability to create experienced personal trainers using over 250 hands on hours, advanced curriculum, and passionate instructors. I Attended back in 2008 and with that experience have been able to open my own fitness facility. I currently have 5 Personal Trainers working for me that are NPTI Graduates. I continue to go back due to the passion and dependability you can't find anywhere else. Finding good Personal Trainers is tough but having a connection to this school has made it easy. Highly recommend!

I just came across these reviews and felt compelled to add my own experience, as it was quite different from what has been written here. Overall, my time at NPTI exceeded my expectations (which were already high, I have a 4-year degree and significant experience in the business world for comparison). Sure, there could be better communication and there is some turnover, but I always saw that as an opportunity to get a new perspective from someone with different experience and learn something new. Like anything else, you will get out of this what you put in and it IS a lot of work outside of classroom time if you truly are committed to learning the material. This program is not (nor does it claim to be) a comprehensive 4-year degree, but it does do everything is says which is provide you with an outstanding base of knowledge that not only qualifies you for several jobs but sets you far above your competition, as I experienced first-hand. Sure, you'll have a long list of areas you want to learn more about or become an expert in, and that's what continuing education is for. If you put in the effort, you will leave with an amazing portfolio that is extremely impressive to others in the field (such as employers, marketing people and other wellness providers) and will be fully prepared to not only pass the NASM exam, but other agency certifications as well (both of which I did within two weeks of graduation). Every person I have spoken with in my graduating class is gainfully employed thanks to our NPTI education, and given the chance to do it all over again I would not hesitate.

NPTI Colorado is a fully accredited education institute. I have been around the facilities for more than 4 years and have seen the progress that NPTI Colorado has made in terms of trying to offer the best curriculum and program for students aspiring to become a personal trainer. If you are hesitant to look into their program due to some of the negative reviews, I would suggest that you speak with their educators and tour the facilities. There are quite a few different opinions posted here and you should give yourself an opportunity to figure out what is best for your education and personal training career.

All the negative comments are true. In my entire educational career I have never attended such a disorganized incapable institution. The whole school rings fraud. I made the mistake going there, will you?
