Love this place. As good as Petco and Pet smart in their supply and choice of different things for animals. The animals seem to be fairly content and the staff is usually on point whenever it comes to questions regarding the animals or products in their store. My only recommendation to them is that they don't use wood shavings/sawdust as the flooring for the ferret exhibit as that can lead to respiratory infections. Otherwise, a great facility.

Unfortunately, it's the only real aquatic shop in Lynchburg. I wish the staff was friendlier. They offer a good product but the staff leaves a bit to be desired. They tend not to greet or treat every customer warmly. So shop there but don't expect any more than basic service.

Rude staff. Act like everything is a hassle for them. Owner watched as two employees laughed at us when we left. They weren't discrete at all. Awful. Don't ever buy anything from there. I'm willing to even buy salt for my reef tank in Roanoke because these people don't deserve my money nor yours. They need to take classes on how to treat customers. Every acropora is browned out so you can't actually see the true colors. A majority of their other corals are dying and all their saltwater fish are riddled with parasites; ich, velvet, and flukes to name a few.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me and my father purchase all the necessities to set up a tropical tank for my daughter. I definitely felt I had the info I needed for success before I left.

My son Truck loves to go to this store when we are in VA. He has a few reptiles and the clerk Chip gives him the best advice. The cashiers are friendly and the store is clean. Best staff ever!!! ❤️❤️❤️
