The folks working here always seem to be in a great mood, which makes the experience more local, less corporate.  The workers are all knowledgeable from what I've experienced  and if they don't know, they take the time to ask another employee or look it up.  The dog trainers here are excellent and well versed in a slew of harder to train issues like anxiety and high prey drive.  Debbie, one of the groomers, is also magnificent!  She is  quick, gentle, and has helped build confidence in my new rescue pupper.  She really goes out of the way for clients too, and has consistently made an effort to fit us in during busy times for quick services like nail trimming.

Staff is extremely helpful and kind.  Each time I visit someone comes right up to greet me and asks me if i'd like any help.  They provide honest recommendations and are not pushy or sales-oriented at all.

It’s an okay location. However it’s a big corporation that could give a s***t about the “local” neighborhood. Be sure to use your mobile device as the website often has lower prices than the prices marked at each store. And will only honor the lower website prices if you pipe up and say something. It does not automatically get scanned at the www sale price. So be aware. The quality of the employee at this kind of store aren’t really gonna go the extra mile and make themselves aware of the lower web site price, because they of course don’t work for the website they work for the store. So if you want the lower price just buy your dog or cat supplies on line and skip the store altogether. You get where I am heading with this? 
Is it any wonder my big chain retail stores are closing left and right?

Check the discount toy bins. They're great and your four legged friend won't even know that you saved a couple bucks on this toy go-around. What a deal!!

I keep trying this store because it is close. They do a terrible job keeping the two items I get (swheet scoop multicat in largest size and limited ingredient merrick turkey formula cat food) on shelves. 

The last THREE times I have attempted to get my regular Merrick Limited ingredient turkey dry food I've come home with overcooked/burnt kibble that my cats won't touch (they love this brand and flavor). I keep telling them and showing them that this batch of food is burnt and they either do not care, or do not let the company know there is an issue because it KEEPS happening. The kibble is almost black from being overcooked and doesn't smell or look like it usually does. 

Why can't they follow through with such a simple issue to ensure I can trust that the food I get and being to their attentjon had an issue????

 Or maybe just stocking shelves instead of always asking me if I can find the items I always get but are in back and not stocked??
