This location is the worst Petco. DO NOT waste your time here. The day my dog was going in for grooming, she scraped her nose while going down the stairs. A lady checked my dog in and everything, but after I pointed out the scrape on the nose, she immediately said it was an open wound and they couldn’t take my dog anymore. It was not an open wound and she didn’t even bother to take a closer look. We left and went to the Draper location, they took my dog in without an appointment. The groomer actually held my dog, checked her nose, said it was not serious at all, and took her right in. Two hours later, I went home with a happy clean dog.

I specifically said all I want is a shampoo and really good brushing. NOT A HAIRCUT! A few stray hairs and a trim around the bum is ok, but I don't want his hair cut! He's cold and it looks awful! Not going here again! Worst hack job ever! Why do hair stylists never listen!!! They do what they want never caring what you say!!! So frustrated!

Rude, awful customer service. Didn’t want to let us handle an animal unless we committed to buying..... I explained that unless we liked the animal and it appeared healthy of course I wouldn’t.  So many dead betas and dead fish... not dead feeders either. Dead fish in many aquariums.

Must have new staff at grooming dept.  Now my dog is too old to be groomed, can't take another to have  nails clipped because it's too large and can't be on calming medicine.  Long time customer with three dogs will go elsewhere for now on.

I am so over large businesses that no longer care about providing decent customer service. This location of Petco is probably the worst experience I have ever had as a customer. I tried for months to get a hold of someone in the grooming area and they never answered the phone. I continued to try because we just moved and one of the things that appealed about the location was because petco was so close and we have always taken our dogs to be groomed at their stores. We have done the Draper location (awesome staff) and the west jordan location. I finally got a hold of the South Jordan location today and was told because my dogs are 10 years old and have not been to this location before they won't take them. My dogs were ten years old six months ago when I took them to the west jordan location and they had never been there before. No problem that time. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was willing to drive to Draper to have the dogs cut, but now I won't give Petco any more of my money.  That's a good couple hundred dollars every few months. THANKS FOR NOTHING!
