We purchased our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel “Frankie” from Sarasota Petland. 
The puppies are very well cared for and lived by the entire staff. Puppies are assigned a Private Veterinarian who handles every aspect of care. The Sarasota staff was wonderful! Taylor Bennett on several occasions gave us excellent advice and assistance regarding how to handle the needs of our new puppy. 
Frankie is a happy, healthy, playful little guy and he has been a great addition to our family♥️

My 5yr old daughter's absolute favorite place to go is Petland! We have visited several times now and we are always greeted by the friendliest staff. Melissa in particular has been there every visit and is incredibly helpful and the most knowledgeable animal lover I have ever met. When the day comes to finally adopt, I know we'll be in good hands with Melissa helping us make the best decision for our family!

So I had a very interesting experience at the Petland in Sarasota the other day. Being someone who has always been an advocate for animal rights I never liked the idea of buying puppies or kittens from a pet store, let alone for the what i thought at the time to be outrageous prices. But that all changed when I actually took the time to go in to the store. I went in for what I thought was going to be a reconnaissance mission and what turned into me falling in love with their store. Not only was I shocked at how happy and healthy all the puppies were, but the customer service I experienced was top notch. Several employees that I spoke to were not only courteous but exceptionally knowledgeable about the pups and very informative. My overall opinion has completely changed and I encourage anyone who is skeptical about the store and their puppies to go experience it first hand.

We bought a French Bulldog from here and he is not only incredibly healthy but fully socialized! The entire staff has been consistently helpful with us and has helped us with our puppy long after we took him home! The staff is highly educated to on the pets and our pet counselor Jessica proved to be extremely knowledgeable and gave us great assistance!

Went in to get 3 large mice and 2 fuzzies. Got home to find out I received 3 small mice and 2 rats. While I was waiting for my incorrect order, I asked why the dog beds where missing from the cages. I was told they are removed at night. I guess this doesn't matter seeing as though there are as many as 4 puppies per small cubicle and they couldn't all fit on a single bed anyways. Few knowledgeable staff. Puppies priced as if they were hens laying golden eggs in the middle of a recession. Bought 3 dogs from them years ago and all had serious skin and growth issues. The only reason I still stop in from time to time is to speak with their only honest and knowledgeable associate. His name is lee. This shop doesn't deserve to have him
