Locally owned and operated in Historic Downtown Boise, Portsche's specializes in exquisite vintage jewelry and repairs. Our discriminating collection includes pieces from the early 1800’s through the 1950’s, without a reproduction to be found.

Been to a LOT of jewelry stores in the past few months, here's why I went with Portsche's on my good but limited budget: 
1. Jed and Phil (lead sales and owner, respectively) were extremely supportive, knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. They do a lot of custom work, so were able to steer me straight on a wedding ring despite me not really knowing exactly what I wanted. 
2. Integrity, and Quality of work. They had several opportunities to sell me something that would have been more expensive and fine with me, but they really respected my money and actually recommended a less expensive option based on my requirements. I was thrilled with the quality of work they did, and as they said all along the way, they would take care of things if there was any kind of problem. Wasn't needed. 
3. Service-focused. I had a piece of herloom jewelry that I was giving my daughter, and I asked if they could clean it and help me pick out a nice box to put it in. Not only did Jed totally "take it from there" and they cleaned a complex piece (blossom necklace) perfectly, he got a high-quality display box that really set the piece off beautifully, and my daughter was thrilled. 

Overall, from the second I walked in just to look, to the second visit where I felt respected and truly helped, to the final checkout and pickup of my items, both of which I am thrilled with, Jed and Phil were simply true professionals, and made an expensive process perfect.

My fiance and I went here to get our wedding rings custom made. Could not be happier with either the result or the process. Jed and Phillip were both amazing. Super knowledgeable, helpful, kind, patient, and a genuine pleasure to work with. We don't wear a lot of jewerly, but if I ever need something, this is where I would go. Thanks guys!

This store is a gem in downtown Boise.  Jed was so helpful with my mother and I when we went in to ask for help with a diamond ring.  He took the time to answer our questions and was very forthcoming with information that would help resolve our issue.  Not to mention the jewelry is beyond beautiful, but you can't beat the customer service.  We are customers for life now!

The staff here is very personable and friendly. More importantly than the excellent customer service that was shown to me. they know what they are talking about and were able to take what I liked from multiple styles of rings and customize it on site into the perfect ring! I was very impressed and I highly recommend.  thank you!

It was truly a pleasure doing business with Philip. I found the ring of my fiance's dreams and proposed to her on top of the Eiffel Tower. You cannot get better quality or service anywhere! Support local and support authenticity.
