stopped here with coworkers.   staff quickly identified them as novice runners and worked to get them properly fitted for shoes.  videotape showed shoe type and staff was knowledgeable

Didn't get the guy's name (he was blonde), but he was super helpful in quickly finding me a good long distance track shoe. He also taught me about the runners knot--which is something that neither my coach or teammates have heard about--, and it's a great trick to use up extra shoelace length and to tighten your shoes.

I only run when I'm being chased.  Luckily for me, that doesn't happen.  But if I need to run, this is where I'd go because the staff knows running like a fish knows swimming.
