Got to the store at 5:40 PM last Sunday when the store closes at 6:00 PM to get a new pair of skates for a 7:00 PM game as I realized one of my skate was broken. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who directed me to the skates area. The person in charge of that area named Jesse was unhelpful, made me feel I was bothering him coming in last minute in the store, did not offer any advice and was reluctant to provide me with any help with sizes. Instead, I had to ask all the questions and provide my own suggestions, much more like an order taking rather than a pro shop experience. I realized I was there close to end of day but had I known I was going to get such a poor customer service experience from a pro shop I would have chosen to go to sportchek where I would have had less expectations. Pro Hockey life, when your employees are more interested in the golf tournament playing on the tv rather than the customer in front of them who are here to give you business there is something wrong. Also, if employees decide to check out from helping customers at 5:40 when you close at 6, there is also something wrong. I left the store frustrated without buying anything and frankly, I will not be back to Pro Hockey life as I didn’t see the value. Bad customer service from Jesse, no inventory for multiple skate models (end of season excuse). I will not recommend your location as a result.

Huge selection and a great layout. Long wait for skate sharpening though. Went mid January and it was 1.5hrs for a sharpen. Everything else is great though.

Great selection of equipment from all the major brands. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the items in the store. Always enjoy shopping experiences here.

Excellent service and selection. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. The gentleman who regular sharpens the skates does a great job every time.
