Planning and building a premium deck is no easy task. I had a few helpful conversations with some people at Home Depot but when I went to the Deck Store that's when I realized how important it was to be talking to the experts. The Deck Store had a better selection of materials at competitive rates. The fact that they could talk me through the differences across my options helped me make a well-informed decision. As I was preparing my order it was great to be able to have a few back and forths with Jessica in person and over email to get things right. The Deck Store is definitely worth checking out if you're planning a backyard project.

Fantastic showroom highlighting some of this spectacular products and materials available to make your dream a reality. This location of The Deck Store is superb with cheerful staff who are very knowledgeable. They are able to meet with you and help you create the perfect outdoor space. They also have a computerized 3D modeling service which lets you see you're finished plan before construction begins. Whatever your needs, feel comfortable that your needs will be met and your expectations exceeded.

The deck they built doesn't meet the Canadian building codes minimum requirements and they do not pay their workers. Hire this company and you will be in court for years to come! Why don't you comment on the fact that the homeowner was extremely unhappy with your work? Why don't you comment on how the deck was built with #8 acq screws which are not structural fastseners? How do you expect for me for work for less then the idiots it was basically training? I quit because I didn't want to be involved in a build that wasn't being built to code. Your workers had a hard time using a level! And both If them contacted me in November looking to be hired by me! One of which was not paid in full either!

The Deck Store built our deck August 2016. They did a fantastic job and were quick. We clearly indicated that the work must be 100% completed by the negotiated date as we had a backyard party with 50 people booked. They were true to their word and completed in time, ensuring that everything was cleaned up. The project was managed by Stephanie who was the designer and project manager for this project. She was great at providing diagrams that helped us select the right colour combinations. Recognizing budget constraints they provided options as well as recommendations for phased projects that would build upon each other for what our final state would look like. Next step might be next year. stay tuned for review part 2!
