Staff was wonderful - kind and attentive. This hotel just looks "tired". Couch and carpet in our room was stained and filthy. No luggage rack anywhere in the room so we had to put suitcases on the desks. No ice machines so we had to ask the front desk to fill our cooler. Spring Hill next door had the luggage rack and the ice machines. Not sure why Residence is lacking these. As I said, staff was very nice but the yucky carpet and sofa left me wondering how clean the rest of our room was.

I was in a 2 bedroom (one king two queens) with a kitchen suite. It's a very clean room and the appliances are pretty new save the TV. But the TVs were decent for what they are. The staff is so friendly. I was chatting with one during breakfast and they offered to make me waffles! I have never been treated with this much kindness before from a hotel chain. It's near great restaurants chain and local. If I'm ever back in Williamsburg again I will definitely be staying here again.

The manager I dealt with was an idiot. The rest of the staff was great, though. Very thin walls so don't expect a quiet stay.

Checked into 2 standard rooms for Memorial Day weekend. Rooms were spacious and clean. No signs of bed bugs. We were given 3 sets of towels instead of four for 4 adults per room, which was odd. The breakfast was average. The waffle maker was not working correctly, which led guests to restart their batter or toss it out. Overall, good for the necessity.
