My husband and I purchased a home recently. Favor Roofing was putting on a new roof before we closed on a house. I was dreading the possibility of the crew leaving behind scraps and extra nails everywhere on the ground. However, when we went to view the new roof- the ground was spotless. I appreciated not having to clean up the yard.

After a particularly nasty hail storm in June 2012, we hired Gary Faver and his team to replace our roof. Unfortunately, we had a couple of incidents following the replacement with leaks over our kitchen. Gary always showed up immediately to patch or tarp to get us through a rain storm until the weather cleared and he could fix it permanently. If Gary himself couldn't make it, he would send a competent member of his crew. After the leak was fixed, Gary also sent someone to do patchwork to the inside of the home where the leak had caused damage to the drywall. Gary warranties all of his work; even if something happens later on that is not due to any fault of the work. We also had him replace a skylight which began to leak from this most recent hail storm back in May. The hail had hit the seal just right to make it leak into the addition below. It was difficult to determine just where the leak was coming from and the weather didn't always cooperate, so Gary had to make several trips out until it was finally found and fixed. All of this was done free of charge and with a great attitude, despite the loss of his time and profit. I have heard many horror stories over the years of contractors/roofers that have ducked and dodged previous clients or simply refused to handle any issues after the original work was done, whether the work was warrantied or not. I can't say enough how much we appreciate someone who has done work on our home to always answer the phone, even years later, and come out immediately for repairs to work that was previously done. Gary has always been pleasant and polite and handled every situation with professionalism and compassion and we are grateful for his integrity and service to our home.

When it came time to sell our Colorado Springs home, a home inspector identified a couple of problems with our roof. One of those was a broken truss member with a couple of other slightly damaged members that were evidently damaged when the house was built more than 10 years ago. After looking around for a contractor to perform the repairs, I found Faver Roofing ... and am glad I did. Within a short time, Faver was able to get the truss repaired and then did some tune up on some shingles that had nails backing out and/or tabs that were bent due to high winds in the area. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with the courteous, prompt, and professional roof repair provided by Gary and his technicians and would highly recommend them to anyone needing these services in the Colorado Springs area.
