The River Birch Lodge is a great place to have lunch.  We enjoyed the Bison and Sausage Cream Cheese Dip served with flat bread appetizer, salad, and Mama's Lasagna.  Oh, and the Italian Creme Cake.  Our Server, Mike, did an excellent job taking care of us, he was attentive, and very pleasant.  The restaurant has an upscale look and delivers on all checkpoints.  I highly recommend this place.  The Manager came around several times checking to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything.  They also have Vegetarian and Gluten-free options available.  A table next to us ordered a pizza, I will have to try when we return, it looked so good, and they offered a piece but I declined.

We love the owners and the wait staff, they treat us like family. The food is consistently amazing. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion and there is a private event room that is very nice. Inside and outside dining and separate bar area, two lovely fireplaces and great decor make River Birch our favorite dining location when we come to Winston Salem.

This was my first time here and I loved it from the moment I walked in.  The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing and the staff was excellent--attentive and friendly!!  Everything I ordered was delicious-- White Chicken Chili and the Baby Kale & Prosciutto Salad.  The table bread was fresh and soft and the Red Sangria was not too sweet. I look forward to trying their weekend brunch and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Obviously an A+ establishment. The food was well manicured, they are used to catering and large events so, #theycouldcook. There's just a little something missing... Perhaps the food cost and the product delivery, that is the whole package, do not balance out. Yet and still, one of the finer spots in the entire area.

Love this place. Excellent food. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Wide variety. Even has a good gluten free menu. Atmosphere is nice. I would recommend River Birch Lodge.
