We needed our gas tank water heater replaced because it was old and leaking. We wanted it replaced with a gas tankless heater. Roto-rooter gave us a fair quote for the job and worked with us to get someone out asap. Maurice came and did a great job in just one afternoon. He was respectful and knowledgeable. Will call again if a job is needed!

Service Technician Muka performed a clean out of our homes drain line with a snake cable. Technician arrived 45 minutes after making call to Rotorooter. Technician was professional, clean and efficient. 👍🏻

*Edit* Rating changed to 1-star after RR tried to dodge speaking with me at 10p*

I'm leaving a 2-star rating simply because my first experience with RR wasn't horrible. The first guy who came attenpted to assist but didn't have an auger small enough to snake our galvanized pipes. We had to wait an additional 4-6 hours for the second tech to come and assist; but, they got the job done.

The short version of today's events:
23a - call and set appointment with RR
19p - RR calls to say tech will arrive in 30 mins
40p - wife leaves house to work package at FedEx (5 mins away)
47p - tech calls to say he is at the house. Rudely states (to wife) that he will not wait for her to return and we must reschedule.
24p - I call to reset appointment. Told a tech will arrive within a 4 hour window.
45p - I arrive home to ensure that someone will be at the house during that window.
49p - RR calls to state that the tech is running behind. They didnt know how long of a delay, but that I will hear from them when the tech would be on his way.
46p - RR calls, lets the phone ring once and immediately hangs up before I can speak to them.
48p - I call the number back, speak with "dispatch" and they tell me the tech is finishing the paperwork and will be on their way. I simply inform them that I am done with RR and to cancel the appointment.

TL:DR, Roto Rooter will have you wait on a 4 hour window, show up over an hour late, and refuse to wait 5 mins for you to return. Then, they won't show up on time again and try to avoid speaking with you on the phone.

Worst Service Ever! Set up an appointment and was given a 4 hour window. They call 3 hours into that window saying no one could make the appointment. We set up a new appointment for the next day, another 4 hour window. We get a call saying a plumber is in the area and will be there soon. An hour goes by, no plumber. We call back and they tell us no one can make it out, they're behind. What a joke of a company!!

So far I'm completely unimpressed with this company.  I spoke with a service person when they called to confirm my appointment at 4:30. Then after waiting all afternoon I had to call to find out where the tech was and was told they were waiting to confirm from me. Seriously I'm beyond mad.  Now I have to wait longer because the tech is on a different job. If this is their great customer service I'd hate to see poor customer service.
