Great airport! Way newer and cleaner terminals than SFO and OAK. Just needs flights to other continents just like how Oakland and San Jose have flights to Tokyo and London. If it did, I would be give this airport the full five stars

Make sure you go to the correct terminal for your airline. If you are flying Southwest you will have to take a automated people mover from where you check in to security. The airport has various parking options. The cheapest is $10/day in the economy lot. A shuttle is provided from the lot to both terminals. Make sure to record where you park.

Beautiful, modern, and laid back. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy to navigate. Interesting selection of vendors. You can find what you need in the secure area in case you left something at home. There is a Starbucks inside too. The little shuttle train is FAST! Easy to catch a Lyft car.

Great local airport. Well maintained. Easy to get in and out due to the lack of traffic and its distance from the Sacramento city center.

The airport itself is easy to navigate and the TSA are fairly polite. My only complaint would be about the airport police outside. My mom has trouble getting in and out of the car, so it takes us a couple extra minutes, it's just the way it is. It's very frustrating to have one of the airport police come up every thirty seconds demanding that we move the vehicle right this very minute when we're doing the best we can. He went so far as to say he was going to ticket us, which caused me to say I would be filing an ADA complaint against the airport, especially since we were doing the best we could. He backed off, but stayed close by and kept giving us the evil eye until we left.
