Hands down my favorite department store on earth. The buyers do a good job and the sales are superb. Folks also underappreciate the in-store brand I feel. The quality of the Saks brand is as good and durable as a mainline designer label. A Saks branded leather jacket I purchased years ago deeply-discounted is still my pride and joy. Still get compliments on it. Today (late January) found a pair of To Boot boots also deeply-discounted. Going back for a blazer that was also on sale.

This is the place to go when you are looking for a very nice gift. I love the brands that are housed in here. The staff is definitely helpful and the layout of the place is relatively easy to navigate through. Escalators in the middle of the sales floors, and elevators off to the side. The only confusing floor is the first floor with all the cosmetics stations blocking view of both the elevators and escalators.

Just about every type of clothing or style you can imagine. Nice staff, but big, busy, too warm, and not really a place to get everyday wear or casual clothes. Everything is relatively "high end". Very nice quality and very nice clothing. Sometime a bargain and markdown, but not for those just "bumming around." If you're looking for a gift or splurge, worth the visit

An Icon on fifth avenue. Large premium department store. Huge selection of premium brands. More in the classic and established range. The holiday show every quarter hour after dawn is a must see during the holiday season. Holiday window displays are a must see, too.

Love the light display out front during the holidays! The best. The store is incredibly decorated and was mobbed with people....ti be expected during the holidays I suppose.
