Visitors can enjoy an easy 20-minute drive to downtown Monterey, Carmel and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Or take a 17-minute drive to Pebble Beach and other local attractions. This KOA is close to local wineries, where wine tasting is the jewel of Monterey County. The campground offers newly renovated cottages with all the amenities and comfort of a hotel room (with a fireplace and / or garden tub in two of the deluxe cottages). Sorry, no pets or smoking allowed in the cottages. Or choose from newly remodeled 50-amp pull thru sites and several 30-amp sites that will accommodate rigs up to 40 feet. The campground's convenient location, 7 miles inland from the coast, makes this KOA your "gateway to the Monterey Peninsula."
