My neighborhood Greek restaurant, which happens to be the most famous one in Baltimore. Cash only, though they do have an ATM. Almost every staff member is a local and many of the waitresses have been there for years (read: decades). This means you're getting consistent and good service, with a Baltimore disposition ;). I like their sandwiches and soups the most, but their seafood and traditional Greek dishes are also delicious. Definitely a good choice in Southeast, but it gets very packed on Fridays, so plan ahead.

Fantastic atmosphere with delicious food. Prices were fair. If you are getting pork ask for well done as some of mine was raw. Im not saying it happens every time or to everyone, but I would just let them know just to be on the safe side. Great place! NOTE: Cash only. Bring It with you or use ATM.

Great authentic Greek food. The salad dressing is excellent and all we use at home. Great old world feel. Bring cash as they do not accept cards or checks. If you forget, there is an ATM. I love their chicken dishes and the eggplant spread appetizer.

Oh my God if there was a six-star option I was selected. After having Greek food here I've had a hard time enjoying Greek food anywhere else. I discovered this restaurant when I worked in Baltimore but have since moved 70 miles away and only make it to Baltimore on rare occasions, thank God but when I do I always get at least a gyro if not a full meal. Everything is good in this place from the food to the service

This restaurant has been a personal favorite for my cousin and I to visit whenever I'm in the Baltimore-DC area. It's a wonderful Greek experience with food that is very common to the culture, yet is comfortable enough for inexperienced American taste buds. To begin, it is a open, but small neighborhood restaurant that has a nice neighborly atmosphere where everybody could know your name. The staff is very friendly and personable, and will always try their best to make you feel warm on a cold day! Moreover, their food is absolutely amazing and I would personally a recommend any of their lamb dishes (which are exceptionally scrumptious). Finally, with their desserts, which is always the most important part of a meal, I would recommend ordering the Galaktoboureko- beautifully flaky dessert with a heavenly custard filling. Overall, if you're ever in Baltimore and want to go to a good local restaurant with a Greek flare, Samos is your diner.
