I am simply heart broken. I purchased my wedding dress and my rehearsal dinner dress on January 28, 2017 at Signature in Georgetown/ Washington, DC. Upon complete payment for my dress in full, I was promised extensive alterations to be completed in a timely manner for which I would pay an additional fee that was not determined at that time. With an appointment made 2 weeks in advance to begin alterations of my dress, the store reported to me that the alterations would not be able to be started that day because the store "lost my 2 dresses". They told me that they did not know what my dresses looked like, asked if I carried a picture of my dresses with me, and also if I had proof of purchase with me for the start of my alterations. They seemed to not believe I had even purchased these dresses there! After attempting to receive a refund for the dresses, being the wedding is now less than 7 months away and I will need to purchase new dresses, they told me I could not receive a refund, could not receive a discount, and that there was nothing they could/would do. During this conversation, the manager stated that the wedding dress "must be in a warehouse" because they "can't keep ALL the dresses there". This of course does not make sense as I had an appointment that had been made for 2 weeks at this point. I then walked around the store to see if I could find my dress, and I found my wedding dress only on the rack, it had been tried on and worn by who knows how many people, and the rehearsal dinner dress had been sold. This is absolutely not acceptable. I no longer trust this company to be involved in the most important and special day of my life. I request a full refund at this time to include a refund downpayment for the alteration that also have not been done. So disappointed!!!!

This was the only place closest to me that carried the Alfredo Angelo bridesmaid dress. The dress was very expensive but that's beside the point. Each time I walked into this establishment I was not even acknowledged mind you I purchased a $340 dress! The only friendly person was the owner. Everyone else was rather snobbish and unfriendly. If I had more time and more options I would of taken my business else where.
