RACIST OWNER! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! I"m a consignment junkie and love to find a good deal. A friend had referred me to Ella Rue and I was excited to see what they have. However, whenever I arrive the sales woman would have nothing to do with me. I smiled, said hello and began to look through the clothes when I hear the older blonde woman whisper to an associate to keep a close eye on me because "they've had a problem with shoplifting". This was my first time ever entering the store so I was shocked! I did my best to start up a conversation and started to go on about my love of designer clothes but this woman wouldn't even give me the respect of looking me in my eyes. She kept looking at her phone or around the room, but never directly at me. If this is how she treats all of her clients, I have no idea how she is still in business.

Very cute shop, but didn't realize it was all designer clothes...still out of my budget for used clothing unfortunately!

I bought the most amazing vintage Chanel pumps here last year and have been sending people to Ella-Rue ever since. I love popping in here on a walk through Georgetown, the shop is incredibly well-curated and I'm always coming out with some new find!

Purchased the most amazing Chanel booties at Ella-Rue in perfect condition. Still my favorite consignment shop in DC by far. Swing by - you won't be sorry.
